Excellent villa and service

The villa is has an open design and very well maintained. Opal, the villa manager is an excellent host. She is like the Swiss Knife of the place. We are most grateful of her service. Strongly recommend the place for large group of people. We had 5 families with lots of kids staying at the villa and were very well looked after.

Perfect spot for a great event

Stayed here for my son's wedding. The View exceeded all expectations! The staff was incredible. Great food, a great balance of service and privacy. As the name suggests, the actual view is incredible. Couldn't have asked for more. A perfect place for a fantastic event. Thanks too everyone, especially Opal and her staff.

We stayed at The View again earlier good year and had a fabulous time. Opal and Sa looked after us so beautifully and the facilities (as always) were absolutely perfect for our big family holiday. I can't revommend The View highly enough!!

It's all about the detail...

If you are reading this, you must have already browsed the pictures of The View wondering whether or not this is the place for you. Having stayed here for a glorious week with two families, I can safely guarantee you that it is. However, pictures alone (enticing as they are), could never do full justice to the experience of actually being at The View. They won’t tell you about eternally kind and patient hostess Opal and her delightful staff who stop at nothing to deliver on each and every request made of them. No end of sunset pictures can fully describe the experience of taking in cocktails as the sun cools itself beyond the horizon, silhouetting the famous five islands. Photos won’t tell you about the house-wide audio and video system or the impressive music and movie collection to suit every taste, mood or occasion. They can’t tell you quite how comfortable the beds are, or about the waterfall running down the rock face into which the house is built, or about how much time it is possible to lounge in and around the pool area. And they certainly won’t tell you quite how delicious the food will be. Or indeed how much of it you will eat… If detail is the difference between great and extraordinary, then The View is all about detail. The owners of this magnificent, modern and extremely comfortable holiday home have spared no expense in catering to their guests whims and wishes. Let there be no mistake - this is high-end holidaying, but The View delivers time and again on its one simple promise - to ensure their guests spend their precious days indulging in nothing but maximum fun, the finest food and total luxury. I strongly suggest that you pay a visit to this amazing place as soon as you can.

Once in a lifetime experience

Our stay at the View was simply incredible, from the moment we were greeted by the beaming smiles of wonderful staff upon arrival to the exceptional standards of the villa to the incredible food. Everything about the villa exceeded all of our expectations and was no doubt a highlight of the trip to Samui. Once we arrived we were given a delicious drink and a tour of the property, everyone was blown away by the attention to detail and the stunning architecture. We were then served up a delicious late night meal which was among the best meals we had on the trip. We awoke the next day to breathtaking views of the 5 islands and Ang Thong and spent the day playing on the kayaks, and stand up paddle board, swimming in the pool and generally relaxing. The staff made a delicious pool side sunset BBQ on the 2nd evening - the perfect end of the stay which unfortunately couldn't be any longer!

Excellent much needed place to relax and celebrate my 50th!

Managed to secure a short last minute stay at The View for my 50th Birthday and was joined by my two adult children and two of their friends. It was probably a little too large for just 6 adults but the villa is superb and we had a very relaxed and special time there! The staff were exceptional and I have to say that Takkie has the happiest disposition and nothing is too much trouble... The Chef cooked us some excellent meals with the highlight being the BBQ with lobster tails. Way too much food but all really delicious. We also really appreciated that the staff were discreet and let us relax and enjoy the villa, but were available if needed. Have to rate the beds and the bedding as probably the most comfortable ever!!! Really amazing pillows (in fact would appreciate knowing where to get these?). Excellent weekend away and a very special place to spend my 50th birthday.

Absolutely fantastic, breathtaking, and amazing.

We stayed at The View, where we had our daughters wedding, my son in law found it on the web site and just knew that was where he wanted to marry his bride. When we arrived you think you are dreaming, then you realise WOW. And the WOW continued for the whole stay. The wedding was arranged and all went fantastic, reception on the private beach, fireworks, lanterns, flowers, music. We had a Thai wedding meal which was spectacular, the next day the flowers were all in glass bowls on the dining table for us all to enjoy. The staff are wonderful, they catered for everyone, even bringing a travel cot down by the pool for our grandson.

Best Place to stay in Koh Samui

Not only did we love the property but the staff was incredible! Anytime we needed something someone was there to assist us. It truly was a vacation we will never forget. The rooms are beautiful, the food was amazing, the pool was perfect, the music was great and the location was to die for! Watching the sunset every night from the pool or the beach was remarkable. We spent 9 nights at this property and would suggest to anyone planning a trip to Koh Samui to stay at this Villa as you will truly never regret your decision and like us you'll be trying to figure out how and when you could come back!!! Thank-you to Opal and all of the staff! You made for a great holiday experience.

Location

The View is perched on a rocky headland between two unspoilt beaches in Taling Ngam. The property overlooks an unspoilt sand-swept cove on Koh Samui's secluded southwest coast. From the villa, you can enjoy 180 degree vistas of island from almost every room. Taling Ngam is one of the most secluded and least developed areas in Koh Samui and so the villa is ideal for those who wish to get away from it all and enjoy the undisturbed life of the nearby fishing village. However, if you crave for some action, a walk along the beach will take you to beachside restaurants and five star dining facilities. The villa is around 45 minutes' drive from the airport and 20 minutes drive away from the tourist town of Nathon is 20 minutes to the north and 30 minutes from the bustling Lamai beach.

* Extra bed will be charged at USD 50++ per night (including breakfast)
* Kids Room with 3 Bunk Beds at USD100++ per night and must be booked with at least 3 bedrooms or above
* Chef or in-villa shopping service is available at THB 200 for each time. However, if goods are harder to source or required to be sourced from places far from the villa, the shopping service costs THB 300 for each time
* Please note that cash float (between THB 20,000 to THB 30,000) is required for all incidentals upon check in
* Pre-arrival shopping service is available at THB 650 or 20% of grocery cost as handling fee, whichever is greater and subject to 7% VAT
* For weddings and private parties, surcharge may be applicable depending on number of guests (a maximum number of guests also applies)
* Babysitting is at THB 350++ per hour and THB 450++ per hour after 8 pm. Minimum of 4 hours in advance booking is required.

Cancellation Policy

If it becomes necessary to cancel all or any part of the booking, Villa Management must be notified in writing (email acceptable). The cancellation will take effect from the day the written confirmation is received.

The following cancellation charges will be applied depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing by Villa Management and the period of stay in the Villa by the Guests:

* 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made 60 days or more before the arrival date.
* 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the arrival date.
* 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made 30 days or less before the arrival date.
* A full or partial refund is subject to the discretion of Villa Management and solely applicable in the event that Villa Management secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial cancelled reservation.

Christmas and New Year Periods:

For any cancellation after the deposit and/or balance payment, all payments are forfeited and a full or partial refund is solely applicable in the event that Villa Management secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial and cancelled reservation.

An admin fee of USD 50 will apply in the event of refund and amendment to reservation. The above cancellation charges also apply if Villa Management cancels the booking due to non-payment of the balance. If the dates of the booking require to be changed or amended, this may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and cancellation charges may apply.
Any change to the original reservation is subject to the approval of Villa Management. An early departure penalty will be subject to negotiation with Villa Management local Representative's Manager.

***Relaxed Cancellation Policy***
We understand that flexibility is required given the impact Coronavirus has on travel. In the event where your trip is disrupted due to COVID-19-related flight cancellations or travel restrictions, the below terms and conditions apply:

In the event your trip is disrupted, we will supply you with the necessary paperwork to file a claim with your travel insurance. If you are not covered by travel insurance, please refer to the policies on our managed villas below.

* Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before the date of arrival are eligible for a credit note for up to twelve (12) months from your original arrival date OR a cash refund of eighty percent (80%).
* Cancellations made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date will be converted into a credit note for up to twelve (12) months from your original arrival date – no cash refund.
* For peak season bookings: If you cancel anytime due to a COVID-related event, you will be provided with twelve (12) months credit from the original arrival date – no cash refund.

We will refund your booking or provide a credit note based on the following conditions:
* Your country of residence issues a travel ban or a warning of ‘Do not travel’ (or the equivalent) to the destination booked.
* Your flight is cancelled and alternatives are not available.
* There is a government-enforced quarantine upon your return from one of our destinations.

Terms and Conditions:
* Proof will be required before confirming eligibility to this clause.
* Cash refund will be minus any fees that may be incurred for international remittance if requested.
* Credit Note allows you to rebook the same villa during the same rate period (season) within twelve (12) months of your original arrival date. You may confirm your travel dates at a later point in time, as long as the stay is completed within twelve (12) months of the original check-in date.
* The minimum length of stay shall also follow the period of the new dates;
* Policy for new bookings apply for selected managed villas;
* Extension of credit note validity may be requested subject to approval.

Payment Terms

Initial Deposit

* An initial deposit of twenty percent (20%) must be paid to confirm a booking, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation of availability.
* During Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year, fifty percent (50%) of the villa rental must be paid to confirm a booking.
* Before the booking is confirmed and a contract becomes enforceable, Villa Management reserves the right to increase or decrease the agreed prices. No contract will be agreed and accepted by Villa Management before the receipt of funds.
* If the funds have not been received by Villa Management within five (5) banking days from the booking date, Villa Management reserves the right to void the booking request and allocate the Villa to another Guest.
* Should the booking be cancelled, cancellation charges will become payable in accordance with the Cancellation Policy.

Balance Payment:

* The outstanding balance must be paid at least seventy-five (75) days before the date of arrival, unless otherwise specified in the booking confirmation.
* Should the booking be made within seventy-five (75) days of the arrival date, the full payment is due upon confirmation and prior to arrival.

Kindly inform upon confirmation of your reservation, which form of payment would be preferred.
* Payments may be made by Telegraphic Transfer to our company bank account ( a nominal admin. fee applies) or through an online payment gateway with your card (Visa, Mastercard or AMEX). For the avoidance of doubt, all bank charges and administration fees to be borne by the client.
* If payment by card is preferred this will incur an admin fee.

Description

Taking elegant tropical luxury to the next level

The View lives up to its name - it is built in a way to enable guests enjoy the ocean splendour from each room of the property. Enjoy a relaxing stay with the sun and sky as your backdrop till as far as your eyes can see while drifting between indoor and outdoor pleasures. The best of the views is perhaps reserved for the evening when you see the sun setting in the distant horizon from the soft-landscaped garden, pool deck or private beachside terrace. The shaded walkway of the entrance leads to a beautiful landscaped garden that extends out to the oceanfront hillside, beyond it to the glittering ocean. On the right is a chic, three storey pavilion which houses 4 spacious, glass walled living and sleeping spaces. The living room is fitted with all entertainment facilities including a projector for watching films. From the room, you can take in the views of a plant-covered natural cliff face, a pond feeding the waterfall that flows through the centre of the property. A staircase leads to the first floor master suites and down to pool, terrace, bar and covered relaxation lounge. Directly across from the living room, there is a dining area served by a fully fitted, resort-style kitchen and a breakfast bar.

The two bedroom upstairs feature central king sized beds, large flat screen TVs (with satellite and DVD players), and other accessories. One bedroom has both in- and outdoor rain showers in the en-suite bathroom; the other has in-room shower installation, and an outdoor tub surrounded by trees. The View also has an infinity pool with attached Jacuzzi. There is an outdoor dining area which is served by a built-in barbeque next to the pool bar. A poolside recess features furniture for relaxation and evening entertainment. A second sea view terrace serves as a massage sala; below it a fully fitted gymnasium.

The remaining 4 bedrooms occupy their own pavilions to the left of the central landscaped garden. The two double guest rooms are stand-alone bungalows with spacious interiors, balconies and en-suite bathrooms featuring showers with sliding doors that open onto tropical views. A walkway leads to a pavilion to the rear, which houses a bright, airy children's room with 6 comfortable, built-in bunks, furnishings and a flat screen TV. This room shares a bathroom with a comfortable, twin bedroom with its own private balcony. From the bedroom pavilions a wooden walkway leads to the villa's private beachside terrace with fitted speakers and another projector screen for outdoor cinema. View villa is also serviced with housekeeping and other support staff ready to service you with a smile.

Kids Room with 3 Bunk Beds at USD100++ per night and must be booked with at least 3 bedrooms or above.
